The Gospel of Matthew is the third book that Michael committed to memory.  It was premiered in Arkansas City, Kansas on April 14, 1986.  This gospel includes familiar teachings of Jesus, such as the Sermon on the Mount.  

The picture here was taken at a performance of Matthew for San Diego State University.  When possible we like to use a screen as a backdrop.  Slides can be projected on this screen to enhance the proclamation of the text.  The picture shows the screen during the nativity narrative of Matthew's Gospel.
