 The Gospel of Mark was the first work of Into The Light Productions. Michael began the memorization of this Gospel in 1978. It was first performed November 28, 1980 at Michael's home church in Palo Alto, California. This production is the simplest of the five performances. It is possible to dramatically recite the entire text of the Gospels of Mark in just under two hours. Since it is the simplest, we recommend it as the first work for any given congregation. The other works dramatically build on this foundation. Act 1 consists of the first 8 chapters, concluding with Peter's confession. MARK gets right into the heart of the matter by moving directly to the public ministry of Jesus. Act 2 consists of chapters 9-16, concluding at the original and traditional ending of MK 16:8, with the women at the tomb leaving in fear.
